When one comes to Disneyland, they have many decisions to make. To park hop, or single park. One day pass, or multi day pass. Select annual pass or premium AP. Then of course comes the“What ride do I go on first?” decision.

After entering the park gates, there’s one decision every guest has to make. Left Tunnel or Right Tunnel. Disneyland_plaqueFor this discussion, we’re looking at the tunnels from the Esplanade/Mickey Floral side of the Main Street Train Station.

Recently, I posted on social media, asking which tunnel do people prefer. Tradition plays a role in the decision making process. Some go left because Pirates of the Caribbean is on the west/left side of the park and that is the initial target. The majority of responses were for the right tunnel. Some choose right because that’s the closer tunnel to the stroller rental booth, others because of driving habits. Then there’s the person that selects the side with less crowds.

For me, theBucketHatDisneyland Left Tunnel is the answer. Looking at the Main Street Station, the first D of Disneyland is nearest the Left Tunnel, representing the start of daylong adventures. Exiting the park is the Right Tunnel, closer to the ending D of Disneyland, thereby completely ending the adventurous loop.
